The E120 also supports certain protocols such as the SeaTalk and SeaTalk2/SeaTalkNG, which allow for easy integration with Raymarine instruments and autopilots. NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 support rounds out the E120's robust capabilities for integration with 3rd party electronics and electronic engine monitoring.
One feature that is new to the E-Series is Video Integration, which offers the most flexible combination of video input and output connections to allow you to see your information where you want, when you want it. The E120 has additional capabilities which allow you to do anything from monitor onboard cameras, to view your information on a wide screen TV or PC monitor. An additional remote control keyboard is also available, so you can control the E120 display from a monitor at a different location. Full-screen or windowed modes can both be selected as view type for the video input, and you can also customize the intervals between each. This is a brand-new feature that hasn't been available on any other series other than the E-Series.
The E120 is built on a weathered aluminum chassis and it is waterproof and has an appropriate trunion mounting bracket which makes for an elegant and unexposed helm. But wait... there's more!
